these shoes are extremely comfortable...would recommend to anyone who is looking for a sandal with arch support...would buy these again....I usually wear 8m but had the opportunity to try these on at Macys and found they ran wide...so I ordered the 8 2a and it was a perfect fit

The Aravon line is made by New Balance and is the best sandal I've ever worn. A great feature is that they come in different widths, including a 2A which is wonderful for my narrow foot. They also have a good arch support which my high instep appreciates and they are a very durable shoe. I'm still wearing the first pair I bought about four years ago (I do have another pair of the same color for dressier occasions since there is some wear showing). I have this particular sandal (the Remy) in every color Aravon's offered since I started buying them and can't remember when I've worn another brand since discovering them.

It has taken me a LONG time to find a supportive low-heel shoe in a 7WW. Amazon was much cheaper (~$30 difference) than New Balance's site for this shoe. I'm VERY glad I purchased it. The elastic connector on top of the shoe (apex of the U-shaped leather) works wonders for comfort. The arch bed and support underfoot has a little cushion but is firm enough to last a long time. I will likely purchase another Aravon shoe/sandal in the future.
