The Frye Company is the oldest continuously operated shoe company in the United States. Founded in 1863 by John A. Frye, a well-to-do shoemaker from England, and family-run until 1945, Frye products have a long and illustrious history. I LOVE these boots. As the other reviewer said, the laces are short. I guess they mean for you to wear these folded. I love that look, but I also want to wear them laced all the way up so I'll get some new laces or some ribbon. Problem solved. They are quality boots I expect to have for a long time. They seem true to size as well. Great purchase.
