It's a great project guitar

Just like I said - garbage out of the box, in my experience, but easy to upgrade into a real player. New pups and wiring, new saddles and block, new nut. Tuners are OK, no need to change so far.Don't expect giggable quality without work - but they are cheap platforms with nice necks and finishes.

Great guitar...if you get it on sale

This is a nice guitar for the money, with a solid build to it and a nice sound as well. It's made of a solid wood, not a glued together plywood, and that adds to it's sound quality. The fret work was good on my example, and required little work to get it to a low action and playing fine. You really cant ask for more for a $70.00 guitar. If your paying over that, though, there may be better out there, with better tone wood(like Alder or Basswood), and better build quality out of the box. But if you catch this on sale, it's a great bargain and a great modding platform for a very small outlay in cash, and you cant really ask for more than that.
