Product Description
Tegaderm consists of a thin film backing with a non-latex, hypoallergenic adhesive. The dressing is breathable, allowing good oxygen and moisture vapor exchange. It is waterproof and impermeable to liquids and bacteria. An intact dressing protects the site from outside contamination. Tegaderm transparent dressings can be used to cover and protect catheter sites and wounds, to maintain a moist environment for wound healing, as a secondary dressing, as a protective cover over at-risk skin, to secure devices to skin and as a protective eye covering.

A MUST if you have sensitive skin

Although these bandages are a little expensive, they helped me out when I had a biopsy that would not heal. The sticky part is clear with a white bandage in the middle - nothing medicinal on the pad. They go on very easily and STAY on, which is a must when an incision site should not get wet. Also, they are the ONLY dressing I could use after a biopsy on my leg. The site would not heal for 3 months and had to be redone. During that time ANY other bandaids would cause burning and/or a reaction where the bandage would stick to my skin. I was very glad to have found these!
