Go Berserk!

This has got to be the best Predator figure ever created. As a long time Predator fan, I've been looking for an affordable, detailed, and high quality figure to add to my collection. The Berserker Predator (based on the character from the Predators movie) is exactly what I was looking for. This guy stands about 14" tall and is very impressive to look at. Everything from his costume to his skin is done in painstaking detail. He comes with two sets of hands and two sets of mandibles (one open, one closed). He has three blades to choose from, each of a different length. He also has a removable shoulder cannon, flip-open wrist computer, stand, and a blood-stained human skull with spinal collumn attached.I think the most impressive feature of this figure is the helmet. Not only does it have an intimidating jaw bone, it has a red LED aiming light situated next to the right visor. The figure comes with a small battery that you place under a piece of armor on his back (held in place with a micro screw). There is a small wire that runs from the helmet to a small plug on his back, just behind his neck (there is also a small on/off switch back there). I wouldn't say the light is all that bright (and it certainly doesn't project a reticle on the wall or anything like that), but it's a nice touch. Another impressive feature is his dreads. They are made of a soft, stretchy rubber that are painted red at the ends. They can be arranged to cover up the wire running from the helmet.This figure has several points of articulation, but trying to get his elbows and knees to bend is kind of a chore. They are very stiff and don't really want to move. His hips, shoulders, neck, and wrists move easily though. The armor/costume is good but not great. You can't really remove it as I can see (not that you would really want to). Also, the helmet doesn't really snap into place. You just sort of stick it to his face and hope that it stays there. Those are the only criticisms I can come up with for this excellent figure. Even the box is excellent. The outer sleeve is black with red cellophane cutouts. The inner box has a flip open tab that reveals the encased figure along with some nice photos and a description of the creature. It was shipped to me incredibly fast and in great condition. I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase.

This product just screams quality, Hot Toys makes amazing figures meant for collectors. This Predator has great articulation and the sculpt and paint job are remarkable. The mask is removable and it has a light up feature for the targeting system. It comes with three different blades for his gauntlet and a human skull which makes for some great displays. Predators wasn't the greatest movie ever made but it sure has some great figures made from it, highly recommended to any collectors that want to have a Predator in their collection.

This is an outstanding figure.I knew that i was going to get a hot toy predator, i just did'nt know which one i wanted until i laid my eyes on "BERSERKER", than i was sold. The sculpt and detail is incredible. This figure actually looks more movie accurate than the previously released preadators from hot toys, it has that muscular big bulky look that the predators are known for. Good articulation and cool extras as well, including my favorite, a killer mask(argublly the best predator mask ever), and a very movie accurate horrible face. This figure is currently going in the $175-$225 range, if you are a fan of predator and you like 1/6 scale figures, this one is a must have.
