Versatile, durable, and easy to play

Great for intermediate players, hobbyists, dorm rooms, frequent travelers, solo acts, rhythm accompaniment or those on a budget. I also recommend the mid/deep ovation style hard case from RoadRunner. Cost me $100, but I have flown cross country with it and don't regret the extra expense.This is the only guitar I own, and I do not plan on buying another anytime soon. The body material is like rhino-lining. Incredibly tough, no scratches or blemishes. It does not resonate as well as wood, but this can be a plus if you have picky neighbors and thin walls. Fantastic electronics. Bridge is solidly secured to the body. You cannot adjust the action on this instrument. Fretboard feels good. Neck looks like maple, which is a cheap wood, but is stained and finished nicely.I wish the fretboard had a cool inlay to liven up its somewhat bleak appearance (looks nice, just a lot of black) and that the built-in tuner was chromatic. But this would drive up the price...

I have bought and sold a few ovations over the years, this by far is my favorite. But what most impressed me was the seller that sold this to me via Amazon. When I received the guitar it had already been set up, normally I need to take it to a guitar tech to have them go through it before it's reeady to play, but imagine my dlight when right out of the box it was ready to go.
