There are countless knock-offs of the original, award-winning design. I searched through many sites before choosing this barstool (adjustable - good for nomads) to go under a black granite counter. The stool is beautifully made of very heavy, solid chrome and high-quality leather (you'll have to rely on your own padding:), and the piston adjustment and spin are smooth. It's a simple, sleek design that goes with everything! A friend has the original version, and these are 1/4th the price...
