Nice shell parka. Could be a tiny bit better.

So for those of you who looked around all over for a high-vis parka, here it is. It's great, it's less expensive than a lot of alternatives.This IS ... since there's no way to really tell ... a shell parka only. There's no insulation, no fleece inside, no removable liner, etc. Just a shell. Seems to be very weather resistant, though that hasn't been put to the test for me yet. This is a 3/4 style jacket, so it goes down the legs a bit, far past the waist. And it looks very sharp.It could use better pockets. For work, it would be more convenient to have better-designed pockets. I've seen other models (or other year's versions) of this jacket that have, for instance, normal hand-warmer pockets behind the two big cargo pockets on the front. The cargo pockets are held only by a velcro top, and there's definitely room for more pockets (document pocket, etc.), but it only has the two.The wrists are elastic, and there's a hood that folds into the collar. The jacket has that type of zipper that has a pull on the top and the bottom, so you can have a varying degree of zippered area, or just zip it like normal and leave the bottom pull all the way at the bottom. There's a drawstring for pulling in at the waist and another at the very bottom. The snaps are plastic, and could be sturdier. Pretty good parka, though.I'd order a size up; it seems to run a little small. You'll also need room in there for insulation layers.
