Still not hunting.

I ordered this bow 11-08-12 and tried to sight it in Thanksgiving week. The sight bridge was mounted improperly and the scope ran out of adjustment without getting to zero. I should have returned it to Amazon, but instead I returned it to Horton for repair. They had it 15 days before checking it in for repair and then sent it back to me still mounted improperly. It has now been sent back again and they tell me to look for a three week turnaround. If it comes back corrected, that will be 90 days ownership without being able to hunt with it. I have asked Horton several times to send me a new stock, but they refuse to do so. I will never buy another Horton product.

Cable Fail

I have maybe taken 20 shots with this bow to sight it in. The cables in the cable guard are already starting to fray, despite me greasing them etc. One big piece came off today. I'm exchanging this at this point, but if the next one does the same thing, I will have to go with a different bow altogether. This is a brand-new bow, I shouldn't have to replace the string already?!

Great Crossbow, Scope Package is a Must!

This Horton TRT 175 is an excellent crossbow, and after minor assembly is ready to shoot. Included is a scope, mount, quiver, and crossbow. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality feel of the bow and was able to make shots at 150 feet with ease. The scope is a must and made shooting the bow a pleasure. Overall, I highly recommend this bow for its accuracy and quality as well as its ease of use and assembly.

Perfect in hard, dry, rocky surface

I am currently wearing this shoe in rocky, sandy, and dry terrain. The ground is hard and unforgiving. I replaced combat boots with this shoe and the relief was instant.There was no break-in time and after three weeks of wear they feel as good as they did on the first day. I wear these shoes for about 16 hours per day. I can comfortably wear these with the laces loose walking around short distances. They are light and cool in 115-120 degree heat.The shoe is a trail runner, so they may not be suitable for terrain where you need high ankle support. On a thick layer of small rocks, my feet are comfortable and secure. There are no signs of breakdown on the shoe and they are holding up exceptionally well.Bottom line, I would buy these again without hesitation.

Salomon XA Pro 3d Mid GTX Trail (Men's)

Due to the physical nature of my occupation, having a comfortable and reliable shoe is vital. Salomon provides the best quality for an extremely reasonable price. When it comes to shoes, I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. Whether I'm going through mud, water, sand, rocky terrain, or just walking on asphalt the Salomon XA Pro has surpassed all my expectations. It is in all reality a running shoe, but can also be used as an everyday work boot. Fresh out of the box they are already extremely comfortable. It takes no time to break them in, and when you do they feel amazing!! I recommend this particular shoe to anyone whose job keeps them outdoors for extended periods of time (like mine) and for those avid outdoor sportsmen.

Great for Hiking

The Salomon ultra is is great hiking boot. Not only is it light weight and comfortable but it is able to handle the toughest of trails. Just finished a 30 mile trek from Tuolumne Meadows to Yosemite Valley traveling through snow, water, mud and rocks including an almost 6000 ft verticle descent and my feet were comfortable and dry the whole way.

Perfect replacement

I built 2 new big block engines for my 21 year old boat this winter, and decided to install new alternators. The electric wiring and harness from the original 454 Mercruiser Magnums (1990) were still in the boat, so I needed to find a 2 wire OEM alternator that would fit the original brackets. I ordered one to try it out in March, and another in June. The vendor (Discount Alternator and Starter) had them in stock at a great price, and they shipped within a day each time. They fit perfect, wired up fine and ran great. One unit stopped working after a few boat rides, it was no longer charging the battery. So I contacted DAS about their 1 year warranty. DAS sent me an RMA number to return the defective alternator and they had it bench tested. The bench test process took a few weeks, but once they confirmed the unit was defective, they sent me a replacement at no charge.
